Tidbits, April 12

Saturday was a beautiful day, albeit a bit chilly, to witness the new fountain/splash pad in action on the Pateros Pedestrian Mall. While taking pictures, I heard some parents tease their children to run through the water, to which the kids wailed, "No!" Maybe they needed a double-dog dare to work up some courage.

Three Rivers Hospital has debuted its new website, www.threerivershospital.net. It contains information about the commissioners, the administration, the services provided by the hospital, how to submit a bill payment, job opportunities and more.

The city of Pateros also has its new site up and running: www.pateros.com. It once belonged to the former Chamber of Commerce.

Did you know today, Thursday, is National Be Kind to Lawyers Day? And tear into your favorite flavor of Twizzlers, because it's also National Licorice Day.
