From the Douglas County Sheriff's Office

"This is Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal. The holidays are a time of gratitude. I am thankful for my family, for my devoted Deputies and staff who keep us all safe, and for the supportive and gracious citizens who make this area great. I hope everyone will think about safety as you enjoy the season. Keep yourselves and your belongings secure, drive defensively and with courtesy, and above all take time to notice and appreciate the many blessings of our community. Best wishes at Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office."
