Brandenburg Scholarship benefit this Saturday

A crab feed to raise money for a scholarship fund established in memory of two Methow Valley brothers killed in separate vehicle accidents will be held this Saturday, Oct. 18 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Winthrop Barn.

The scholarship originally was established in memory of Jordan Brandenburg, who was killed in a car accident during his first year at college. His six-year-old brother Chase was killed about a year later in a vehicle accident. Their parents are trying to raise enough money to make the scholarship fund self-sustaining.

Tickets are on sale at Jamie's Place and Valley Hub in Winthrop and the Daily Business and Cascade Pipe and Supply in Twisp. Along with the crab the menu includes salad and dessert, along with a no-host wine, beer and soft drink bar.
