Posted

BREWSTER – With six league wins under their banner the unbeaten Lady Bears varsity soccer team is ready to face its undefeated nemesis, the Liberty Bell Lady Lions at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, on Brewster’s home pitch.

The Lady Bears shut out Tonasket, 5-0, Oct. 2, and got a forfeit from Oroville Oct. 4. At the same time Liberty Bell was manhandling Pateros, 8-1, and Bridgeport, 1-0, to keep its streak untarnished.

The Lady Bears were scheduled to meet lake Roosevelt on the road Tuesday, Oct. 9, and have already trampled the Raiders in a previous meeting, 12-0. Liberty Bell was scheduled to host Manson, that fell to the Lady Lions earlier this season, 3-0.

Brewster and Liberty Bell will be battling for the top spot in the Central Washington B-2B league since their nearest rival, Bridgeport sits in third place with a 4-4 record.
