Fillies volleyball chasing its first win in early season matches

BRIDGEPORT – The Fillies varsity volleyball team is still looking for its first win of the season following a string of five losses, the latest two a 3-1 decision at Soap Lake on Sept. 18, and a 3-1 home loss to Liberty Bell last Thursday, Sept. 20.

The Fillies stayed close through the first game, knotting the score at 21-21 before the Lady Lions edged ahead to take the game 25-23.

Bridgeport has dropped its last four games against Waterville-Mansfield, Tonasket, Soap Lake, and Liberty Bell by 1-3 margins.

Bridgeport was scheduled to host Omak last Tuesday, Sept. 25, followed by Lake Roosevelt at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.
