Ice Age Megafloods of the Pacific Northwest topic at Wenatchee Valley Erratics

WENATCHEE - The Wenatchee Valley Erratics Chapter of the Ice Age Floods Institute will meet at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 10 at the Wenatchee Valley Museum, 127 South Mission, Wenatchee.
Ice Age megafloods, from at least three different sources, left a dramatic mark on the Pacific Northwest that is clearly visible today. Our speaker, Bruce Bjornstad, will show evidence for dozens of floods from glacial Lakes Missoula and Columbia, as well as Lake Bonneville, via maps, drone videos and other imagery. Bruce is a licensed geologist/hydrogeologist and author who specializes in the Ice Age Floods and is now the Master of  Megaflood features quadricopter videos. He recently retired as a Senior Research Scientist at Battelle's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. His research, books, and aerial videos can be viewed at his website, BruceBjornstad.com.
