James “Mike” Harvey passed away on August 30, 2023, at his residence on the Bridgeport Bar. Mike was born in Omak, Washington to Ernest and Peggy Harvey on December 12, 1953. He was the youngest of four children.
Mike attended school in Twisp until he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1972. After his service in the Air Force he traveled some before moving to Nevada where he lived until returning to the Bridgeport area to care for his father. Mike was a long-time member of the American Legion in Brewster and enjoyed spending time with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister June.
He is survived by his sisters Jean Maples of Twisp and Candy Monnin of Riverside. There will be a Memorial Dinner in memory of Mike on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the American Legion in Brewster, Washington.
