EAST WENATCHEE - As of Monday, June 22 there are 285 positive cases, up from 274 positive cases of COVID19 in Chelan County on June 15, and 193 cases, up from 181 cases in Douglas County. New cases in Chelan and Douglas County in the last seven days is 21. The number of deaths remains at 9.
The age groups with cases are: 0-19 58 cases, 209 cases in the 20-39 age group, up from 199; and 142 cases in the 40-59 age group up from 135. There are 53 cases in the 60-179 age group and 16 in the 80 plus age group.
Entiat is holding at one case, Bridgeport is holding at four cases. Chelan has 30 cases (increase of three), Manson 8 (no increase), Chelan Falls has 19 (no increase), Orondo 9 (no increase) and East Wenatchee 160 (was 148). Chelan and Douglas counties are in They are now in a modified Phase 1.5.
As of June 16 Okanogan County has 79 cases up from 74, and two deaths. They are now in Phase 2.
Social Distancing and wearing a mask is good, out of concern for preventing viral spread to others versus catching the virus from someone else.
