Billygoats basketball fast-breaks into 2021-22 season

Posted

PATEROS – The Billygoats varsity basketball team opened its Central Washington B-1B season on the road at Moses Lake Christian Academy, Nov. 29, and hosted Soap Lake the following day. Pateros lost to Moses Lake, 57-28, and fell to the Eagles, 67-16.
It’s still early in the season for the Pateros boys as they work out the kinks following a year of inactivity and get more familiar with teamwork and the plays coaches Marcus Stennes and Brevin Everson have designed for them.
The Billygoats were scheduled to make the 160-plus mile round trip Wilson Creek on Monday, Dec. 6, before hosting cross-county rival Bridgeport on Tuesday, Dec. 7. On Friday, Dec. 10, the Billygoats host Riverside Christian Academy at 6 p.m. The remainder of the season schedule shapes up like this:
Monday, Dec. 13, at Moses Lake Christian Academy
Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Wilber/Creston
Friday, Dec. 17, Waterville/Mansfield (7:30 p.m.)
Tuesday, Dec. 21, Cascade Christian Academy (7:30 p.m.)
Tuesday, Dec. 28, Republic (7:30 p.m.)
Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Bridgeport (7:30 p.m.)
