Bridgeport Mustangs, Fillies defeat Entiat

BRIDGEPORT – Both the Mustangs and Fillies varsity basketball teams got the upper hand against the Entiat Tigers on June 1.
Mustangs head coach John McDougal said his team won by 11 points behind the scoring of sophomore Cristian Lopez with 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Lopez was helped by senior Jesus Torres with three points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Senior Tito Alcantara added four points, six assists, and three steals.
The Fillies varsity girls won by single digits, 61-53. Head coach Kate Luttrell said Lesly Moreno had 14 points and Karla Torres added another 12 points.
