PATEROS – The sting of a 40-0 halftime deficit against visiting Oroville that the Billygoats varsity football team took into the locker room last Friday, Oct. 29, was lessened a little by the Homecoming festivities that followed on the football field. Culminating a week of theme days on campus including Wouldn’t Be Caught Dead In…Day, Time Warp Day, Bring Anything But Your Backpack Day, Purple and Gold Day, and Halloween Day, Homecoming 2021 unfolded under the designation “Nightmare on Beach Street.” Last Friday’s football game was preceded by Trunk or Treat on the school’s lower parking lot.
It has been a tough year on the gridiron for the winless Billygoats who ended up on the short end of a 56-0 final score.
