Okanogan County Commissioners issue county wide burn ban

OKANOGAN – A county wide burn ban has been announced and was effective midnight August 12.

The Okanogan County Commissioners Jim DeTro and Andy Hover signed Resolution 114-2022 Declaration of Hazardous Fire Conditions on August 9. The measure prohibits all outdoor burning including campfires. Citizens can read the resolution in its entirety on the Okanogan County Emergency Management website at, okanogancounty.org/government/emergency_management. The webpage will be official host page for all the burn ban/restriction information for all unincorporated parts of Okanogan County.
