Chelan Valley Hope

Current needs: blankets, diapers, and travel-size toiletries

Serving Bridgeport, Mansfield, Orondo,  Chelan, Manson, Chelan Falls, Waterville, and Entiat

CHELAN - Monday, January 16, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., an extraordinary American whose legacy as a civil rights leader, activist, and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize serves as an inspiration. We honor the conviction – and in some cases great sacrifices – of the many who have fought and who continue to fight for equality and opportunity for all. Dr. King once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” He dreamed of a nation in which every person would be equal, and he devoted his life to advancing equality, social justice, and economic opportunity for all. Celebrating Dr. King’s legacy should mean finding more ways to bring hope and healing to the community. It should mean identifying what human dignity looks like and pushing it forward. It should mean boldly pursuing truth and justice, dignity, and service.

Friendly Reminder: Chelan Valley Hope is closed on Monday, Jan. 16 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

We have coats of all sizes available at 417 S. Bradley Street. We are open Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (closed from Noon to 1 p.m.). Please call 509-888-2114 or email info@chelanvalleyhope.org for more information.  You can also visit our website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram to get the latest CVH news and updates at chelanvalleyhope.org, @ChelanValleyHope.
