OVOC building demolished

The Okanogan Valley Orchestra and Chorus (OVOC) storage building that collapsed under heavy winter snow last December in downtown Okanogan was demolished last week. Following the structure’s collapse an OVOC spokesman said the organization plans to erect a new building on the site. It is not known at this writing whether the steamboat mural that decorated the north wall of the building see photo was salvaged before the demolition.
