Pateros, Bridgeport volleyball seasons come to close

BRIDGEPORT – It was a tough season for the Bridgeport varsity volleyball team that had to face tough competition in its CW2B conference schedule. If that was not challenge enough the Fillies had to play every game on the road due to ongoing construction work in the school gym.

Bridgeport lost its final regular season game on Oct. 24 against 2022 state quarterfinalist Okanogan.

The Nannies varsity volleyball team opened its season with a win over non-conference Bridgeport but managed to pull out only two conference wins in its 13-game CW1B schedule. Those were over Easton, 3-0, and Thorp, 3-2. The Nannies last game of the season was against the same - but improved - Thorp team that turned the 3-2 outcome in its favor.
