Pateros, Shockers land players on All-League

Shockers’ Finkbeiner named Coach of the Year

PATEROS – Ten varsity basketball players from the Pateros and Waterville-Mansfield teams, including the girls’ Most Valuable Player, comprise nearly half the roster of Central Washington 1B All-League teams selected by league coaches and athletic directors this season.

Pateros Nannies were detoured on their road to state by a loss to Garfield-Palouse in the first round of state play on Feb. 24.

The Waterville-Mansfield Lady Shockers are on deck to meet their state opponent in the Spokane Arena in the quarterfinal play on Thursday, Feb. 29.
