Holiday Bazaar had something for everyone

Posted

BREWSTER – The Holiday Bazaar hosted by the Brewster-Bridgeport-Pateros Senior Center and Thrift Store last Friday, Dec. 9, drew an assortment of vendors that brought variety of quality products from homemade syrup and hand-painted signs to colorful bags and monogrammed cups.

This is only the second year that the Senior Center has held the holiday event, but both the turnout of customers and the caliber of the craft work is promising for future events of its kind to raise needed funds for the organization. Some of the vendors included:

  • Staci Pippit, whose Old Forest Hag products include Old Fashioned Elderberry Syrup and a selection of herbal solutions from Pacific Northwest sources.
  • Heather and Joel McFee specialize in handmade Christmas décor including ornaments, wreaths, and painted signs.
  • Margi Allen makes monogrammed cups and other items.
  • Plum & Khloe Designs produce colorful bags with zipper closures or handles.
  • Caytlin from Okanogan uses high quality resin art to make personal accessories to domino boards and mancala sets.
  • Kim Youngers features a line of Christmas holiday painted signs.

The Brewster-Bridgeport-Pateros Senior Center Thrift Store is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday- Saturday and offers a wide selection of clothing, children’s items, books, CD/DVDs, and household items.
