Posted

TWISP - Methow Recycles will host its third annual Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 27, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the John Doran Ranch in Twisp. The event aims to promote sustainability efforts such as repair, sharing, reuse, and recycling in rural Okanogan County.

This year's festival will be headlined by Tacoma-based reggae band Island Bound, complemented by performances from local group The Crunk Monks, known for their fusion of funk and rock. Attendees are invited to enjoy a range of activities and attractions including food trucks, local beer and wine, and an education village offering demonstrations and activities by conservation organizations from the region. The festival will also feature a poetry tent with readings by local poets, a variety of family-friendly activities, and ample outdoor space for guests to dance and celebrate the spring season in the Cascades.

Tickets are priced at $25 in advance and $28 at the door, with free admission for children 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult. Advance tickets can be purchased online at Brown Paper Tickets [https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/6256182] or in person at Methow Recycles. The event supports Methow Recycles' vision for a low-waste future in Okanogan County.
