Military veterans honored

The American Legion Columbia Post 97 Honor Guard paid its respects to a pair of military veterans at back-to-back services held in Pateros and Brewster on Saturday, Sept. 16. A Navy Honor Guard folded the American flag at the Pateros Memorial Cemetery services for Herschell Adolf Grittman and Marines did the same for Ray Counts at the Legion headquarters in Brewster.
